Golden fever

I don’t know how it is in your homeland, but here in the Baltic dunes, to communicate with our dear Fatherland, we have the Russia 24 TV channel - and on this TV channel, God knows what day they celebrate the success of Russian synchronized swimmers in Shanghai. And not even in the sports blocks, but in the main news.

A couple of times they started with this as the main topic of the day. New gold for Russia, new record for Natalia Ishchenko! And only then – the rise of “Bulgaria” and other little things of current life.

And finally they all won. Well, I think now I’ll take a break from Natalia Ishchenko... No matter how it is! For the second day they have been showing how the Motherland meets them, loaded with gold, at Sheremetyevo...

God knows, I’m not against girls and I adore synchronicity, but maybe I should look for some other reasons for optimism?
