The Constitutional Court responded to a request from Chechen President Allu Alkhanov that Ulman’s case could not be tried by a jury. Let us recall that previously it was the jury that rendered two acquittals in this case. At the same time, the Constitutional Court confirmed that, in principle, in Russia, military cases can be tried by district military courts with the participation of a jury. Exactly how the military will judge themselves for crimes against the civilian population, especially in hot spots, there is no need to even guess.
