The State Duma adopted in the third and final reading a law requiring that prices for goods and services be indicated in advertising exclusively in rubles. As a result of numerous amendments, all strict norms disappeared from the law. Initially, they wanted to oblige everyone - ministers, deputies, journalists - to name prices only in rubles. They didn’t do anything - you can say whatever you want. And in the media and documents, amounts mentioned in rubles can be clarified by mentioning equivalent amounts in foreign currency. On the one hand, it is joyful that they avoided patriotic idiocy, but on the other hand, the adoption of the law has lost any meaning.
