The Mordovian regional department of the Investigative Committee refused the Pussy Riot participant Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, contained in the IK-14 in the village of Parz, in the initiation of a criminal case on the fact of threats to her from the deputy head of the colony Yuri Kupriyanov. It is reported by ITAR-TASS with reference to the lawyer of the political prisoner Dmitry Dinze. The department also refused to take measures to ensure Tolokonnikova's security.
Meanwhile, the Federal Penitentiary Service in Mordovia reports that on the eve of 22:00 Tolokonnikov was visited by the investigator of the Zubovo-Polyansky inter-district department of the Investigative Committee, accompanied by a medic IK-14. They offered a political prisoner to undergo a physical examination to remove the bodily harm obtained when drinking water was taken from her. However, the department claims, Tolokonnikova refused this.
As previously reported, the FSINESS deny the seizure of water from Pussy Riot and the use of strength to her. According to the agency, the actions of each employee IK-14 are recorded by a DVR attached to uniforms.
In confirmation of their words, the jailers posted a video on YouTube entitled "Tolokonnikova provocation", which, according to their statement, was shot by a colony officer while replacing water in a political prisoner chamber. There are really no violent acts on the video, but it is not possible to identify Tolokonnikov on it or disassemble the content of replicas.
The FSINOVTS said that they transferred this shooting in the TFR. For what purpose this was done is not specified. Meanwhile, Dinze at 18:47 Thursday wrote on Twitter that the jailers achieve from Tolokonnikova explanations regarding her hunger strike, as well as threats from Kupriyanov. “Otherwise, they threaten to draw up an act,” the lawyer noted. As can be seen from the previous message of Dinze, written several minutes earlier, the FSINITS nominated these requirements in the presence of the senior investigator of the Zubovo-Polyansky department of the Investigative Committee of Mikhail Marchkov.
Meanwhile, an open news agency reports that Tolokonnikova at a survey that Marchkov conducted on Thursday in the presence of Dinze expressed his readiness to confirm his testimony on the lie detector and demanded that Kupriyanov were tested on a polygraph. Dinze asked the TFR to appoint and conduct such a study.
The lawyer also requested a survey of a member of the Presidential Council of Human Rights, Yevgeny Moslovsky. Earlier, Moslovsky told the media about his conversation with Kupriyanov and IK-14 chief Alexander Kulagin, during which they assured him that the conversation of the deputy chief of the colony with Tolokonnikova was recorded on audio and there were no threats addressed to this record. Marchkov introduced Dinze's petition to the materials of pre -investigation.
On Friday morning, the press service of the Mordovian Federal Penitentiary Service said: "In the Tolokonnikova camera, the drinking water recommended by doctors was made to warm water. Physical force was not applied to the convicted person." The report on the headquarters website says that the recommendation to bring to the chamber of political prisoner warm boiled water was given by the head of the medical unit of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, who visited Tolokonnikov after the declaration of a hunger strike, "performed a medical examination" and "took the necessary tests".
Tolokonnikova announced the seizure of water the night before in a telephone conversation with the journalist Slon.ru Vera Kichanova. According to the political prisoner, the officer on duty, who appeared to deprive her of water, refused to submit any official documents authorizing such a measure. Tolokonnikova refused to give water. “In response, he simply began to tear out this water by force: he grabbed my arms and legs, dragged me, and at that time the convicted person, which is an orderly in a schizo, simply pulled out this water,” said the political prisoner.
Tolokonnikova considered the removal of her drinking water an attempt to attempt on her. She is sure that these are the revenge of the colony administration for her stories about violations in IK-14.
On September 27, the head of the PMC Mordovia Gennady Morozov told RIA Novosti that the IK-14 convicted committee refused to support Tolokonnikova’s petition to replace the remaining sentence with correctional labor. Morozov did not name the reasons for such a decision.
The head of the PMC added that the documents for the upcoming consideration of the petition were sent from the colony to the Zubovo-Polyansky district court of Mordovia.
