Personnel decides everything

The number of priests in the Roman Catholic Church is declining year by year, and personnel issues have long troubled the Holy See. It is not surprising that this topic was raised at the Synod. There are a variety of proposals to solve the problem: from a project to allow gay applicants to be admitted to the seminary (of course, if they are willing to take a vow of chastity) to the abolition of celibacy. I wonder what the outcome of the heated debate on this topic will be.
