The Russian President signed a decree “On official representatives of the Federal Service of the Russian Federation for Control of Drug Trafficking in Foreign Countries.” The document allows the State Drug Control Service to maintain 50 official representatives abroad. In addition to spending budget funds, drug police sent to the West will have to engage in “interaction with the international competent authorities of foreign states in the field of combating illicit drug trafficking.”
