Once again I want to say what the sport is beautiful. Visibility! Once again I was convinced of this when I watched the boiling of passions around the battle of Povetkin and Klitschko.
Sport in our country is not the most favorite sight. He attracts universal interest only in a patriotic section. When sports victories are presented as political victories, as the victories of the country. In general, as it was back in Soviet times, which we are now so intensely parody. Athletes from the nose are urge to stand behind Rus'. They put up two dozen Olympic champions against students and, having won one and a half hundred gold medals at the Universiade, then trigger about this as an outstanding achievement. And the Olympics impending on us will be served in the same genre.
But there will be not only victories, but also defeats. Be prepared for the fact that a double reaction will follow losing. Or such a prostrate athlete disgraced the country and did not justify our hopes. Either our athlete was well done, but the conspiracy of foreign judges and the dishonest game of the opponent prevented him from winning.
So, the battle of Povetkin and Klitschko was a small rehearsal of Sochi. For those who really monitor boxing, there was no intrigue in the duel. Klitschko is simply stronger. The result and even the nature of the fight completely coincided with the absolute majority of forecasts of specialists. But the thing is that the event was “sold” by the mass audience. 99% of which had no idea about the balance of power. People should have the feeling that Povetkin is not only nicknamed, but also essentially Russian Knight. That the battle will be equal and the victory should remain with us. Because Sasha is a good guy and because he is Russian. And the Russians were born to win. And certainly not to lose.
In addition, the simple thought was implicitly dragged out that it would be necessary to put Klitschko in the face of all these crests in the person. Those who watched the battle probably remembered the heart-rending cries of some fool next to the ring like “Bay the Rooster!”, “Sanya, do not listen to the judge, hit!”. And even "Beat the Jew!" Sounded in the hall. All this reflected the mood of a considerable part of the audience. It was as if to fight Povetkin was to be with an idol of the filthy.
Although Vladimir Klitschko and his equally famous brother Vitaliy are the sons of the officer of the Soviet Army. Their father was a liquidator in Chernobyl, where he undermined his health. And not so long ago, he died from the diseases acquired in 1986. But in the "film" on Channel One before the battle there was not a word about this, and only the story of Povetkin and his late dad told us only to us. Which was also touching, but not honest. By the way, the native language of the Klitschko brothers is Russian. And there was no confrontation between Rusich with Khokhl and the like. There was just a boxing duel with a very predictable ending, which many Russians did not know about.
Therefore, I understand the confusion of numerous celebrities in the hall and inhabitants of TV screens and on the network. Povetkin did everything he could. He fought courageously, kept his best. But he was able to win only thanks to a miracle. This is the real balance of power.
But only those who at least understand something in boxing could sensibly evaluate the situation. And the mass audience either rushed to blame the Russian boxer for lack of worship, or began to blame the judge who allowed Klitschko “play the Oblast”, or to Klitschko himself “roll”, they say, what a champion he was!
The ubiquitous Orthodox explained the defeat of Povetkin with a pagan with paganism! All these pre -match chants, runes on the body and on clothes, Svarog and the like aesthetics. It looked really deliberately, but, we note that under this song, Povetkin has been going to battle for many years, not specifically for Klitschko, prenulent.
Although it is still strange that Alexander Povetkin is part of the Patriarchal Council in culture and at the same time worships Svarog. Not seeing in this any contradiction. In my opinion, this well reflects the general porridge in the heads of our fellow citizens. That Jesus, that Perun is all one.
And when people in their heads are mixed up, then they are not able to perceive sporting competitions adequately. And they are ready to turn the same Olympics into the battle of Great Orthodox Russia with a rotten West, with all its fagots and pindos. When our athletes are required to win. And foreign athletes can win either crazy or thanks to the treacherous cowardice of our athletes.
