During the quarterly financial report, Apple's CTO made a statement regarding the current state of affairs with maps on iOS6.

“Over the past few months we have made a number of improvements to Maps and will work non-stop until their quality reaches our high standards,” said Peter Oppenheimer.
This comes about a month after Tim Cook made a similar statement in an open letter apologizing for the quality of Apple Maps .
North American users of the company's products have already noticed improvements in the maps. So, among other things, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty were fixed. But questions about the quality of the product remain.
The reluctance of company representatives to address this issue during the presentation of new devices on October 23 is understandable. Oppenheimer himself touched on this topic in passing, not wanting to be distracted from the main agenda. Detailed statements or inclusion in the next presentation, apparently, should be expected after global changes in the still raw product.
