Then I could, of course, condescendingly pat on the shoulder of Alexei Devotchenko. The fact is that I record my programs on the ATS television company - the very one on which the time was made. Our country today, which scares us so much, which is so unfair and in which we are not too comfortable to live, was created by our common efforts and small betrayals. Treasures not for the sake of vital money, but for the sake of additional money, which, we were imagining, will be able to provide individual comfort - but which were spent in vain because personal comfort is impossible among general discomfort.

That is, we can console ourselves by the fact that we ourselves are professionals of a high sample, to which there can be no complaints - but we still feel like a driver from a police station, who also printed quickly, without errors, but the execution lists of partisans.

And if according to the Hamburg account, - and Devotchenko offers him, then in today's Russia you can’t live, it is necessary to either run from it, or go for the sake of truth for torment, as hundreds went.

However, the majority, as it seems to me (and I am among them), for now, are not ready to drive to London or Krasnokamensk. Not only because of internal weakness. And because Alexey Devotchenko, in the call of a total refusal to participate in at least something related to power, involuntarily proceeds from the fairly popular theory of the occupied country. The bottom line is that power in Russia is seized by invaders, with which there can be no cooperation at least and there should be a maximum war.

However, this theory is horrifying hopelessly, because it does not allow you to change anything and does not allow you to hope for anything. Moreover, it represents “power” as a single, monolithic, alien power.

Meanwhile, I at one time lived in one rather criminal, pretty vicious and very two-year-round country. The country of the USSR was called. And, as I now understand, the USSR collapsed, not because the Western voices or martyrs of the Gulag stole it: the majority did not know about them, and these voices and martyrs acted only on the consciousness of piles of people who were, conditionally, then, the then “cultural elite”. But these people from the then literary newspaper, the then “Komsomolskaya Pravda” or the then Izvestia (and even from Soviet television, according to which KVN went, “what? Where?” Or “Club of film travelers”; and even people from Soviet cinema, not to mention the theater; and even from the Institute of Marxism-Lenininism, not to mention the Academy of Sciences) They influenced very noticeably on the rest of the society. Because Soviet newspapers were not monolith. And there was no monolithic television. And Goskino with the Ministry of Culture. And even the Central Committee of the CPSU, together with the Politburo, as we now know, were not monolithic. Therefore, there was a restructuring, which I am incredibly glad, although terribly disappointed that the perestroika was built.

And now, what - hope for a second time?

Or, okay, I am still ready to lose hope, but relations with people-how can I tear them in a living way? There, on the First Channel, Elena Malysheva, whom I love tenderly, is leading his famous health program-how now, to spit in it because she is on the first? Or in Sasha Polovtsev, who became a friend of the family even before he played Major Solovts in the “cops” - how do I also spit? Or Andrei Biljo in Izvestia - I don’t give my hands, although I don’t take Izvestia for a long time, and if I take it, then my hands with soap?

There is such an needlework, taking into account the size of the country, the act is completely childish - that is, it has more resentment than responsibility.

Yes, today in everything and everywhere - from politics to the economy - more vile and unfair than respectful and reasonable. Yes, power structures are not guarded by the people, but by power. Yes, the information machine is largely rebuilt into propaganda. But this does not mean that you have no rights to the levers of this car.

That is, you can’t pretend that you have no conflict of interests with the driver (he is), you need to denote the boundaries of the permissible compromise for yourself, you can’t cross these borders for any money (and they will force it!) - and you need to be prepared for the fact that as a result you will remain unemployed for a while.

And I, unlike Devotchenko, scares not so much voluntary participation in the work of the State Machine as a voluntary self -censorship, a self -oscion based on a false a priori representation that “otherwise is in no way”.

The brilliant journalist of the time of the USSR Valery Agranovsky is the author "Stop Malakhov!" -He taught me in the 1980s like this: “Do not cut yourself, Dimochka, yourself-provide it to them. If they cut out a piece of you, there will be no piece, but there will be a clear conscience. And if you cut yourself, there will be neither text nor conscience. And then, maybe they won’t cut it out - maybe there one clan will go to the other, and you will slip into this gap. ”

This formula seems to me more reasonable than the formula of complete non -participation in the operation of the system. In the sense - more effective. For me, a watership is whether a person is going on in his professional activity for the sake of money against his conscience - and not where exactly he is engaged in this activity.
