
Today, May 16, the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky will present to the team of the Russian University of Theater Arts - GITIS of the new acting rector. By order of the minister, he was appointed theater and theater critic Grigory Zaslavsky.
This was reported by Interfax with reference to a source close to the leadership of the Ministry of Culture. “The current rector of Karina Melik-Pashayeva was dismissed after the maximum age,” the source explained.
Karina Melik-Pashaeva (b. 1946) headed GITIS since 2009.
