The Federal Air Transport Agency intends to sue Oleg Deripaska 1.3 billion rubles

The Federal Air Transport Agency filed a lawsuit against the Transstroy engineering corporation, which is part of the Basic Element group businessman Oleg Deripaska. As follows from the materials of the case published on the website of the Moscow Arbitration Court, the plaintiff demands to recover over 1.3 billion rubles from the company.

The lawsuit was filed on September 15. An interview with the parties and a preliminary meeting in the case was scheduled for November 18, 2014. What are the complaints of the Federal Air Transport Agency, is not disclosed in the statement. The lawsuit also has a third party - the Federal Company "Administration of Civil Airports".

According to ITAR-TASS , Transstroy was supposed to complete the reconstruction of the Krasnodar airfield in May last year, but did not complete the work on time. “The amount presented in the lawsuit is a penalty for failure to fulfill the obligations under the contract,” the agency’s interlocutor in the “Civil Airport Administration” said.

Transstroy is involved in the reconstruction of Sheremetyevo airfield with a total value of 26.3 billion rubles.
