The heroic drama “Breath” about the fearlessness of doctors in the pandemic - with Irina Gorbacheva was released. They tried to please everyone at once, it turned out a lot of stamps

Heroic production drama. The producers (Alexei Trotsyuk, Eduard Iloyan, Vitaly Shlyuppo) who know how to make warm, sincere and at the same time spiritual, folk cinema like “Cheburashka” or “Calling”, the idea arose to sing a feat of doctors into pandemia.

The mission is noble. But difficult. To do this, you need to tell not only about the dedication, estimates and impudence of the doctors - but also about the price of asceticism, failures, losses, breakdowns, burnout - and not by tangent: so that there is a volume of life. As it turned out in Khlebnikov in "Arrhythmias", the film in which Irina Gorbacheva also played the main role. Here she is the acting head physician (the head physician himself, played by Sergei Lysov, paranoid, who was frightened for his life and barricaded in his office).

And the protagonist of the film Victor (Anton Bogatyrev) is a supplier of medical equipment. In fact, Victor is an ex-surgeon who did not pick up a scalpel for a long time. He came to the hospital to a sick mother, and stuck here on quarantine. The hospital is surrounded by fighters of the Russian Guard.

And if not Victor, doctors with Pandemia could not cope. He got the PCR tests (they were secretly thrown in plastic bags through the fence), he also figuredfully figured out how to connect the patients to the Ivl without drainage, using shocking masks with a tube. Together with the resourceful former convict Osipenko, they offer to separate healthy patients from the sick, block ventilation hatches so that the infection does not spread. In general, such talented rationalizers, without which the epidemic cannot be defeated. In addition, Dmitry is a born surgeon. He threw medicine exclusively in order to provide his mother and himself a worthy life.

So

This is still a story about calling that is not betrayed. And the roads that choose us. There are many dramatic stamps here.

It seems that the producers tried to please all categories of spectators at once. For example, for women near the heroic-a lyric-comic line. Comrade Victor - Mikhail, Trickster, ready for adventures, is responsible for it, in his pocket he always has a pile of red bills, in his head - the wind. In Buzykin, he rushes between his wife and mistress. The girls are both beautiful and resourceful: the brunette depicts an epileptic attack in front of the police, the blonde - leaves the chase. Michael loves sincerely both, but the pandemic will force him to make a “responsible choice”.

There will be conversations about the value of life and the little things that it consists of. For example, about caramel pads. Or about the cutlets that the hospitalized mother promises to fry to the son ... Then you begin to seriously worry about the life of mom. For the severity of the genre there will be a fire, for fiery emotion - “Nautilus” with the legendary song that gave the naming the film:

“I'm trying to get to breathe

To give you at least for a minute

The gas that did not know how to appreciate.

But you sleep and do not know

That we have kilometers of water. ”

It seems that the film itself lacks “that gas”, like Roman Karimov, who knows how and loves to make living atmospheric cinema (“Inappropriate people”, “Walk, Vasya!”), Filled “breath” in a mask worn on him by producers.
