The Kirovsky District Court of Ufa recognized Adolf Hitler’s book “Mein Kampf” as extremist. The website of the Prosecutor General's Office reports this. At the same time, the message emphasizes that the book by the “main Nazi war criminal” “has not yet been recognized as extremist.”
The court made the decision based on the proposal of the prosecutor's office. On behalf of the prosecutor's office of Bashkiria, the prosecutor's office of the Kirov district of Ufa conducted an inspection of the implementation of legislation on countering extremist activities, as a result of which “the fact of free distribution of the book was confirmed.” As they write on the website of the Prosecutor General’s Office, “until now it was freely available on some Internet sites, and was also sold semi-legally by book sellers without being prohibited.”
“In accordance with Art. 1 of the Federal Law “On Combating Extremist Activities,” the attribution of documents to the works of the leaders of the National Socialist Workers’ Party of Germany is the basis for automatic recognition of them as extremist materials and does not require additional argumentation or examination,” notes the Prosecutor General’s Office. The message did not forget to point out that “the book contains elements of Hitler’s autobiography outlining the ideas of National Socialism, expresses a militaristic worldview and justifies discrimination and extermination of persons of non-Aryan races, reflects the ideas that were realized at the beginning of the Second World War.”
The Kirov court agreed with all this, and now, according to the Prosecutor General’s Office, “Mein Kampf” should be added to the Federal List of Extremist Materials.
