-You were at the concert on March 7, 1981, at which the “picnic”, “Russians”, “myths” and “mirror” were performed and which was the birthday of a rock club? Why did these groups perform? What did it look like? Why didn’t the police come to knit everyone?
- Was. As a member of the Picnic group (then without Shklyarsky). And as one of the organizers. Played on a flute.
The selection of groups is completely logical. All of them by that time were already known for their speeches on numerous "Seychens." And they showed the initiative to create a rock club.
It looked: the beautiful Zhora Ordanovsky in a white suit (“Russians”), the magnificent Gene of Barikhnovsky in T-shirt (“Myths”), serious art crops “Mirror” and the frivolous picnic booths “Picnic”.
The sound was monstrous. Because they collected on the eve of the crumbs on the repents, brought to Rubinstein, 13, they sold and drove over the night, and then ... the audience knew the lyrics in advance.
Police, Komsomol operars, KGB, representatives of trade union and state culture and some other other-all were. But, you see, the regional party committee issued the installation - not to touch yet. Let's see, they say.
And for what? Everything is festive, raised, fraternizing. Well, then drank later.
-When you were elected president of the rock club, who was your competitor? Who else could lead a rock club? Why did you choose you?
-By that time, the foundations of public democracy have already developed in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Rock Club.-Ed. ). For the most part, we, who were not -informed, did not know anything, suppose, the Polish Sejm or the ancient Greek Agora, but naturally came to the form of a traditional forum. Those. There were “right”, “left”, “centrists”, “slope” and so on.
The “right” proposed to build the RK as an organization similar to the Len Concert, which would be engaged exclusively with concert activities.
The “left”, on the contrary, insisted that the RK should be completely independent of the state. By analogy with some church.
The discussions took place violently. Every Saturday, a man gathered in 200.
There were no muzzles. But it’s funny now to watch the debates of our parliamentarians.
And in the end, the "centrists" won, as usual. I belonged to them.
Well, and so, at the general meeting, in 1982 I became president of the rock club.
However, we lost beer for that day. And the concert was cool.
-The leader of the St. Petersburg group, Vladimir Rekshan, in his book Leningrad Time writes: “The sound at Rock-Klubov’s concerts was stably vile. The people spent half of the concerts in the buffet, where they sold coffee, beer and small snack. ” Your comments?
- By the buffet, one could judge how interesting the team is that on this day there is a place to be. This was called "voting with the legs." If the buffet is empty, then ... but it was not always objective. Many deserved people did not always go through this test. Except the Aquarium, of course.
Once in the same buffet, some kind of genius came up with this: traffic jams from beer bottles were then with a plastic insert, and he collected these inserts from the plugs scattered along the tables, pulled out and, putting them to the freshly printed Order of Lenin on the newspaper Pravda, inserted back into corks. Printed. And scattered back on the tables.
A passing by the administrator on duty, overwhelmed by thirst, saw in that (fairly) ideological sabotage. Further, all available boxes of beer were opened in the pantry. And although no further intent was discovered, however, we lost beer for that day. And the concert was cool.
-How was the work of a rock club built? Did you go to work every day? What was charged with you?
- The work of the RK is a separate story. This is an epic.
To work every day - since 1989, when the RK acquired a legal status, different from the status of a cactus mug. Prior to this - on public, as they say, the principles. Responsibilities - communication with people.
-What took you the largest amount of time as president of the rock club?
-In the 80s, the largest amount of time was communicating with walkers from all over the country. They needed regulatory documents that we already developed and introduced, and they, returning to themselves somewhere there, to Vladivostok, Chelyabinsk, Minsk, Arkhangelsk and so on, could say: but in the city of three revolutions the rock club already has no. Why? Sometimes it helped. But in the end, everything depended on the initiative in the field.
-The musicians accepted into the rock club could “put” work books there and receive work experience. True, Vladimir Veselkin, for example, complains that nothing of the kind happened to him.
- “employed” in the Republic of Kazakhstan was decent. About 600 people. Many really worked, some periodically. From other regions including. This allowed many of them to avoid the then article of the Criminal Code. And Veselkin - well, well. I did not bother on time. The doors were open. Still survivors come for certificates of confirmation of experience.
