Amnesty in hand

Employees of the Beslan police department, accused of negligence leading to the seizure of school No. 1 in Beslan, have been released from criminal liability. The chairman of the Voice of Beslan organization, Ella Kesaeva, spoke about this on Echo of Moscow: “We left the court hearing as a sign of protest. This is a violation of our constitutional rights to justice. The authorities are afraid of court hearings, afraid to call high-ranking witnesses, and this amnesty was adopted specifically to shut the mouths of law enforcement officers...”
