Surozh case

The start of the commission's work was timed to coincide with the annual conference of the Sourozh diocese in Oxford (May 26-29). The commission itself began its work on the 27th, after the 29th meeting it was moved to the Cathedral in London. Everyone was given the opportunity to share their vision of the causes of the crisis with the members of the commission. Clergy, laity, and members of parish councils were interviewed. The commission's findings will be presented to Patriarch Alexy and the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church.
