Colta.ru is still against war. We love our relatives and friends in Ukraine, and we are worried about them and for ourselves. Now, when the most sound words are drowning in a propaganda whip and cannon volley, we decided that let the music speak better for us.
This playlist is composed of songs by Ukrainian singers and ensembles-from Kyiv, Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Ivano-Frankivsk. The songs included in the mix were recorded in the 1960s, the 1970s and 1980s, when it could never have occurred to anyone that Russians and Ukrainians would become borders on different sides and would threaten each other, rattling weapons. It was not so long ago.
These songs are equally understandable to both Russian citizens and Ukrainian citizens, as well as, we hope, it is clear that we want to say with these songs: “We love you - you are our relatives and friends. We do not want war. We hope that our love will never leave. ”
