Despite the threatening statements of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko that he will not allow rallies and strikes, protests under the general name “Revolution through Social Networks” took place on June 14 in a number of Belarusian cities, including Minsk, where about five hundred people gathered. Earlier, calls appeared on social networks to gather without banners and slogans. Fifteen people were detained in Minsk and later released without drawing up reports. In Grodno, in particular, Russian citizen Boris Chernyavsky, an operator of a Polish TV channel, was detained. He was released only after the intervention of Polish diplomats.
