The case against Kazbek Dukuzov and Musa Vakhaev, accused of participating in a group that was directly related to the murder of Khlebnikov, was brought to court. The investigation also identified the person who ordered the murder of the journalist. This is a resident of Chechnya, Khozh-Akhmed Nukhaev, who, according to the authorities, offered the members of the criminal group to kill Paul Klebnikov for a reward.
