We'll eat it ourselves

Sovereignty is obvious: while the Commissioner for Children's Rights Pavel Astakhov is vomiting and raving about the Americans, who, apparently, then only adopt Russian children, so that they can then kill, maim, mock them or hand them back to Russia, and asks Putin whether to ban them whether foreign adoption is possible at all, and in response he cautiously notes that it seems that there, they have a better standard of living and therefore there is no point in prohibiting it, in the Kemerovo region everything has already been decided. The local legislature prohibited United States citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the United States from adopting orphans and children without parental care. An exception is made only for close relatives, subject to documentary proof of the relationship. It must be assumed that in Kuzbass the standard of living has already reached the Western level, orphanages are paradise, foster families are all well-matched. Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council Nina Zenkevich, quoted by Ekho Moskvy, said that in the United States there is an acute problem of violence against adopted Russian children and that adoptive parents are not punished properly. She rightly added that the situation is aggravated by the fact that the Russian-American adoption agreement has not yet been ratified.
