People are not pawns

From the very beginning, even at the organization’s stage, our trip caused great discontent of the local authorities. For everywhere, the FSB “tightly” us, no one even hides that there is a clear instruction from Krasnodar to prevent me from communicating with people: “Let Kasparov ride with the breeze in the Krasnodar Territory, look at the endless fields - but there should be no contacts with the population.” Meetings with people are held almost in military conditions: for example, yesterday in Tikhoretsk, the local administration directly announced that any teacher of the secondary or music school, which would be noticed to meet the OGF, will be immediately dismissed.

And today, in Krasnodar, we were met by young people from the ours organization, however, on the way, we were informed that a picket was organized around the building where the meeting was organized, moreover, the administration longs for a physical clash between the “ourselves” and the supporters of the OGF and in every possible way provokes it. Later it turned out that the owners of the building could not withstand the pressure of the authorities and refused us. The people who accepted us shook their hands - they say, we can’t do anything. Arriving, we got the opportunity to admire all this beauty. Several dozen young people stood, deploying posters of various contents: “Kasparov Agent of counterintelligence”, “Down with the orange husk”, most of all I liked the slogan “NOT POWERS”. With him, I began a press conference when the problem with the room was still resolved. People are really not pawns, it’s only a pity that the activists of the “Young Guard” come out with such slogans, without thinking about what this means, but just working out a bottle of beer promised by local authorities. It is interesting that two representatives of the “ours”, whom we invited to the room where the meeting took place, began to react in a completely different way when we heard what I was saying - they began to ask interesting questions, the guys clearly thought. The paradox, but the fact that power creates endless clones of youth political organizations is even useful in some ways. The youth is really very passive, and sometimes, having sometimes come to politics behind a bottle of beer, young, often far from stupid people, begin to think about what is happening, how we live, to draw independent conclusions. So the authorities, not wanting it, replenish our ranks with young supporters.

Despite the active opposition of the authorities, there are much more meetings than during a similar trip last year. We do not have any narrow -party frames - we communicate with everyone who comes to meetings, who is ready to perceive our thoughts and ideas. We are helped by the local branches of Yabloko, Cossack organizations, in one village we were accepted by the chairman of the local branch of the Communist Party. I still refuse both Zyuganov and Yavlinsky in the right to be considered opposition politicians. Numerous, often unacceptable, compromises with the authorities from Yabloko and the Communist Party give me the right to a sharp assessment. But ordinary members of local branches of these parties are not related to what leaders are doing. It’s just that people are very tired of the current government and are looking for leaders among the so -called opposition.

According to the “sundress radio”, people learn that a person has arrived, communicates with them, talks about the problems that excite them, and the authorities prevents them from doing this. I think, despite all the difficulties, such meetings are simply necessary. It is important for me to know what people live, and for them it is an opportunity to hear a different reasonable point of view. People have long realized that the television picture ceased to display reality, the authorities finally lied - because they come to such meetings with great interest. This trip once again confirmed the correctness of our thesis that Russia is now divided not on the right/left, liberals/patriots, but to those who are built into power and are ready to resist the authorities. Just like in Moscow, in each region there are those who, observing personal benefits, are on any conspiracy with the authorities, and those who confront her, defending the interests of people.

Only on such trips can you understand that it really excites people. It is likely to talk about the problems of Russia, without going beyond the garden ring, is like pouring out of empty to empty. Krasnodar Territory is a place where you can directly contact the problems that excite people in the village. The most sore topic here is the Earth. According to the law, people should have received land plots, and in the end all resources are concentrated either in the hands of rotary dealers or assigned to officials. The method that rural district officials solve land issues to pain resemble the methods that officials solve the problem of housing and communal services in large cities. Bureaucratic lawlessness both there and there. Only in large cities they profit from urban infrastructure, on housing, and here - on land allotments.

Krasnodar Territory from the point of view of great politics - an abandoned edge, here, to the northern villages, no one goes. How long have we seen reports from Tikhoretskaya or Timashevsky regions? Dmitry Kozak regularly reports the situation with the borders, speaks of North Ossetia, Chechnya. But people are more concerned about theft of local officials. The kozak does not bother them, and they are Kozak, apparently, too. At meetings, people talk about local authorities, because it does not allow them to live. Further Tkachev no one thinks. We know very little about what is happening here. It seems that nothing happens, but in fact the situation is heated to the limit, passions boil, people are very tense. The land issue, which is constantly resolved by officials in their favor, brings people literally to white heat.

I must say that our ideas here, in the Krasnodar Territory, find a lively response - in the near future the local branch of the United Civil Front will be created, in which, I think, many will come. People are looking for at least some alternative, they actually understand that this cannot continue.
