Kaliningrad. What next?
Frightened by the January 12,000 rally in Kaliningrad, the authorities over the past one and a half months did everything in order to bring down the protest wave. Standard methods: brainwashing on the topic “We took into account all the wishes of citizens” and pressure on the opposition in order to split it.
In the second direction of the authorities, the greatest success has yet been achieved. Two understandable goals were pursued: by the method of whip and gingerbread, to draw local opposition leaders into the orbit of collaborationism (well, further this whole well -known set of spam about the “constructive dialogue” against the “frenzied rally”) and drive a wedge between the local protest and the federal opposition. The latter was the most important task for the authorities. Integration with federal opposition movements obviously enhances the Kaliningrad protest movement, giving it a much wider resonance, turning it from a spontaneous local protest into an important part of the nationwide movement with the requirements of the Putin government. Symbiosis frightening for power.
Of course, special irritation in this regard caused the participation of "solidarity" in the preparation and conduct of Kaliningrad protest rallies. From all local opposition, who were summoned in the last one and a half months to “conversations” with local and federal security officials, demanded to disown cooperation with “solidarity” as the main condition for the non -disclosure of sanctions to them. “Solidarity” in a little more than a year of its existence has become the only all -Russian opposition movement that fundamentally refuse to play according to the Kremlin rules. The rest, one way or another - in the Kremlin orbit. That is why the cooperation of regional opposition with naughty "solidarity" is considered by the authorities as the main danger.
The authorities managed to achieve something-the former informal leader of the Kaliningrad opposition movement, Konstantin Doroshko, in February came out of “solidarity” in February, on the field of opposition, in February, in February. As further events showed, the departure of the Doroshka from "solidarity" became only a prelude to the actual cessation of opposition activities. He entered the Political Advisory Council hastily created by Governor Boos (designed to show that the authorities are “listening” to the requirements of the opposition). He became a frequent guest in the regional administration, and shortly before the next protest rally scheduled for March 20, he actually made an sole decision to cancel it (the Doroshch signed an application to the city hall for a rally), contrary to the opinion of other participants in the protest coalition that the rally must be carried out. On March 19-20, Doroshko did not even participate in the shares of the Kaliningrad opposition, preferring the “direct line” of the governor Boos with the people.
Actually, luring the leaders of local protest movements to their side - the tactics are old as the world, nothing new. Another thing is pleasing: most representatives of the Kaliningrad opposition coalition refused to “take” the protest in exchange for cooperation with the authorities. The leader of the local “Patriots of Russia” Mikhail Chesalin, co -chairs of the Kaliningrad “solidarity” Lyudmila Zelinskaya (former deputy of the regional Duma), Sergey Kravchenko, Sergey Kornienko (the latter is also included in the board of the Rostshop, headed by K., where he opposed the cancellation of the rally on March 20) - all of them supported the continuation of the Opposition activities of the opposition coalition. The Doroshka condemned the decision to cancel the rally on March 20 and the local Communist Party, which prescribed its own protest rally as an alternative to March 27.

There is confidence that, despite the annoying episode with the actual tightening of the Doroshka to the side of the government, the Kaliningrad opposition coalition will be able to reformat and continue its activities. We are waiting for new shares in Kaliningrad.
There are every reason for such expectations: the authorities are not fulfilling the requirements of Kaliningraders, people in the city are disappointed, many are waiting for the continuation of protests. The events of March 20 were confirmed by this, when the townspeople in the amount of 3-5 thousand people came to the central square of the city-the very one where the rally was held on January 30, and which the authorities now blocked the "agricultural fair" in order to prevent the conduct of new rallies-in order to take part in the anti-government flash mob. The gathered, regardless of the ban, the people chanted "Boos Resignation!"
This indicates that its first task - calming the public opinion of the fairy tales about the “measures taken” - the authorities completely failed. For example, despite the propaganda rants that “the transport tax rates were returned to the 2008 level”, in fact, only the latest increase in tax (by 26% this year) was canceled, and the rates adopted by the 2008 law and increased the level of transport tax by 67%, were in force, adding to this the possibility of indexing the transport tax in the coming years based on based on "DEFTLAL index." Let me remind you that the provision of personal vehicles in Kaliningrad is the same as in Moscow and St. Petersburg (3rd place in Russia, almost a third of citizens owns a personal car here), and in terms of the level of cash income, the region is only the 28th in the country.
And at the same time, the power after the rally on January 30, as they say, “ate the whole brain” to citizens about how she will now take care of them and “take all measures” so that citizens live better and better. At the same time, people see how the local business was strangled over the years of Boos's reign, how the taxpayers built an expensive Primorsky ring road (as Kaliningraders say, “leading from nowhere to nowhere ”), which Boos now wants to make paid.
The sickening symbol of the rough propaganda of the authorities was one of the last questions asked by the governor Boos during the “direct line” with citizens on March 20. A girl who called the “representative of the creative intelligentsia” came to the microphone, and asked: “How could you manage so successfully that the creative capabilities of the region really changed?”
How did Galich have? "As a mother I declare to you and as a woman! .."
At the same time, the host of the Boosovsky straight line, the famous propaganda showman Soloviev, in a bustling way cut off and reported the girl for the praise “read on a piece of paper” - which only increased the impression of the clumsy of such a propaganda “work”. It is worth thinking that Boos’s “direct line” only additionally averted many Kaliningraders from the governor and his cheap propaganda tricks. Many people have already unveiled to what extent the “political advisory council” created by BOOS is turning into a tool to mock the problems of the region and the “wiring” of the opposition.
It seems that Boos could not deceive the Kaliningraders. The losses inflicted are not fatal and overcome. The protest movement in Kaliningrad will continue. It is important to maintain a coalition spirit in the opposition camp, put aside disagreements, hold together - this is the only way to achieve your goals, change life for the better both in the region and in the country.
