Just a few hours after President Dmitry Medvedev scolded the heads of the traffic police for the situation on the roads, another disaster occurred. In the Krasnodar region there was a head-on collision between a regular bus and a truck. The long list of road accident victims was replenished with one dead and three dozen injured.
The President named various reasons for the accident - the poor performance of driving schools, and the desire of traffic cops to rob drivers, instead of organizing traffic.
At the same time, Medvedev did not say about the main cause of the accident, about why Russian drivers completely violate the rules. After all, this happens because these rules are not written to the big and small authorities. No matter how you say the right words, no matter how much you criticize your subordinates, the situation on the roads will not change as long as half of the capital’s highways are closed for several hours for the passage of various officials. Either the law is the same for everyone, or it does not exist.
Medvedev's fight against road accidents will have the same result as his fight against corruption. That is zero.
