The international organization Transparency International has published a “rating” of the most corrupt countries in the world. The study included 163 states, Russia took 127th place. Our closest neighbors in terms of corruption are Honduras, Nepal, the Philippines and Swaziland. At the same time, First Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia Alexander Buksman made a statement that the volume of the corruption market in Russia is more than $240 billion. The amount is quite comparable to the annual federal budget.
