The Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg proposes to the State Duma to consider an amendment to Article 167 of the procedural code, which allows the case to be considered without any participant in the process in the event of his systematic failure to appear in court. If the amendment is adopted, the court will be able to consider the case without a plaintiff, without a defendant, and without a witness. In this way they propose to fight judicial delays. We can go further: why do we need a trial at all? Put one official with a big seal in prison and let him decide everything... It will work out even faster.
