There are two cities of federal significance in Russia - Moscow and St. Petersburg. But deputies do not rule out that after consultation with the regions, the list of settlements in which gambling activities will be prohibited may be expanded. This measure is in line with global practice in this area, according to which gambling establishments are located outside residential areas. However, the fate of the bill in Russia depends not on legal practice, but on the size of the kickback that gambling business owners will be able to offer to the authorities.
