Former Russian Prime Minister Yegor Gaidar has no doubt that they tried to poison him. He told a Financial Times correspondent about this. “Most likely, behind what happened is one of the obvious or hidden opponents of the Russian authorities, those who are interested in a further radical deterioration of Russia’s relations with the West,” Gaidar said. Gaidar felt a sharp deterioration in his health on November 24 at a scientific conference in Dublin. With signs of poisoning, he was taken to a hospital near the Irish capital.
