Nikolai Petrovich Karachentsov was born in 1944 in Moscow, in 1967 he graduated with honors from the Moscow Art Theater School and, among the ten best students, was distributed to the Leninsky Komsomol Theater (since 1991-Lenkom).
Nikolai Karachentsov remained in Lenkom for a lifetime, played dozens of roles on the stage of this theater. Grigory Gorin (1974) of the same play, the actor brought wide fame to the actor, for more than 20 years he went on stage as Count Rezanov in the rock-operator of “Juno and Avos” (1981).

In 2005, Nikolai Karachentsov fell into a car accident and received a serious injury, after which he could not finally recover and continue the artistic career.
Farewell to Nikolai Karachentsov is planned to be held on October 29 on the stage of the Lenkom Theater, RIA Novosti reports.
