Riots broke out outside the Hungarian Television building in Budapest on Tuesday night. Those gathered demanded the resignation of the government, freedom of speech and press in the country. Mass protests demanding the resignation of the government began on Sunday near the building of the Hungarian parliament. The reason for the unrest was the Prime Minister's admission in the press that members of the government were lying to the people about the state of the economy in order to win the parliamentary elections in April.
