The Public Opinion Foundation found that 83% of Russians do not dislike Jews. Only 8% admitted that they do not like Jews, and 6% admitted that they have a positive attitude towards anti-Semites. The initiator of the odious letter, deputy Alexander Krutov, also, it turns out, was working on a tip. The Moscow Bureau of Human Rights discovered that the text of the letter was ripped off from the websites of fundamentalist radicals from the ranks of “zaruezhniki” who fraternized with Vasiliev’s “Pamyat” in the early 90s. So Krutov is a poor student all around.
