Unlike the Georgian president, Blair has no questions regarding the timing of the withdrawal of Russian military bases from Georgian territory. The problem turned out to be that elections took place in England (which, of course, was difficult to foresee in advance) and Blair's party unexpectedly won. Now the Prime Minister is working hard on forming the Cabinet of Ministers, which he personally informed President Putin about by telephone. Blair also said he regretted not being able to attend the celebrations.
