The prospects for the site near the Kremlin, which was once occupied by the Rossiya Hotel, are already more or less without alternative - there will be a park on this site. But not an easy one - for ten billion rubles. At least this is the figure announced today by the chief architect of Moscow, Sergei Kuznetsov. The competition for the best project is already in full swing. Today, six companies will be selected as winners of the first stage. And the commission will make a decision on the final version of the landscape and architectural concept, according to which this all-season wonder park will be built, in November of this year. The construction itself will take about three years.
At one time in Zaryadye, on the site of what was once the most famous hotel in Russia, they were going to build a new hotel complex, then a parking lot. But in 2012, Vladimir Putin announced that there would be a park here. After this, all discussions immediately stopped.
