In early November, the former prime minister announced his readiness to participate in new presidential elections. And today Mikhail Kasyanov is taking the first steps towards his stated goal. Several months ago, Alexander Polovinkin, a former assistant to Prime Minister Kasyanov on military-technical cooperation, was elected chairman of the party executive committee.
