Late yesterday evening, the head of the Cheryomushkinsky district of the capital, Sergei Burkotov, and his driver Dmitry Samokhvalov were shot on the Butovskoye highway. Both died on the spot from their injuries. A criminal case has been opened: no one now doubts that the murder was ordered, and the investigation will most likely consider the professional activities of the deceased as the main version.
