In the Kremlin Operation "Antiedro" Denis Bilunov, member of the Federal Council of the “United Civil Front”, about the actions of the opposition that accompanied the Voronezh congress of the youth wing of the party in power - “Young Guard of United Russia” on November 16, 2005: Especially at the Congress of the “Young Guard”, the Antidero Committee was created, which included representatives of the Communist Party, the Rodina and “United Civil Front” party. Several protest events were planned, some of them were allowed. First, two authorized pickets were held. One is near the Dzerzhinsky boarding house, where the congress was held. There were about a hundred people. Sergey Shargunov arrived - the leader of the youth "Motherland".
The next picket was planned before entering the territory of the Voronezh Aviation and Technical Association. This is a regime object, one of the largest aircraft factories in Russia. There, the “Young Guard” held another event, and it was naturally impossible to go there. Neither oppositionists nor journalists were allowed there. In general, the entire event held by the young United Russia was very mysterious and conspiracy.
It was planned to hold a picket directly on the square in front of this object by blocking the entrance. But the police pushed us away from the square, although initially permission to the picket was received in this place. As a result, we stood on the side of the road. The deputies who received permission tried to argue with the police, but this only encouraged the situation. They tried to pick up one person, but then they decided that it was better not to aggravate the situation and did not take him to the department. In the evening, the Voronezh Committee "Antidedro" planned to hold a concert in the parallel of the concert that organized the "Young Guard". United Russia planned a concert on Lenin Square - the central square of the city. There was a group “Brilliant” and one of the popular Voronezh groups. The opposition was supposed to hold a concert nearby, on another square. Permission to it was obtained in advance. The group “Forbidden drummers”, the local “Jack-Pot” group, were going to come there, all members of which are part of the “United Civil Front”, and several more Voronezh performers. As we know, the musicians were pressure by employees of the local FSB. They were told that if they perform at the concert, then they will have huge problems. When it became clear that the threats could not be solved, on the eve of the action, the authorities said that he was not able to ensure security at two mass events at once, after which they dismantled the scene. But this is all complete nonsense, because, for example, on the city day, a dozen such events are carried out. Then it was decided to hold a picket in the Koltsovsky square, which adjoins Lenin Square.
About three hundred people gathered first at the place where the concert was supposed to take place, and then with the flags we went towards Lenin Square. The police chiefs told the organizers of the picket that it was impossible to hold it in the square because the square was surrounded by metal fences. As we understood, fireworks were composed there, designed for the next event of the “Young Guard”. In general, they categorically did not let us go there. Therefore, the picket was transferred to the corner of the square. For about forty minutes, people stood with flags, chanted slogans.
It all ended that the picket participants took out fireworks, which, of course, distracted the attention of people from the United Russia concert. Then the police began to be very nervous. When the torches went out and people slowly began to diverge, the elderly activists of the Communist Party shouted something unpleasant, and the police decided to pick them up. Members of the Youth Communist Organization stood up for them. The brawl began. Several people arrested. Then the others said that they would not go anywhere until they let everyone go. State Duma deputies tried to negotiate with the authorities for a long time. At that moment, fifty people remained on the street.
A chain of 50-70 police officers formed around us. One of the National Bolshes could not stand it, he lit the remaining torch. Then the law enforcement officers broke into our group, a brawl began, from which I was lucky to get out. A 20-25 man was arrested, and after the arrest they were still beaten. Including Sergey Shargunov. Then they were also picked by the sides of the deputies.
