Marvel movie stars help organize surprise for man dying of cancer
Marvel movie stars helped an American woman arrange a surprise for her father, who was dying of cancer. Her story was told by BuzzFeed .

In 2011, Stratford Caldecott was diagnosed with prostate cancer. In May 2014, doctors told the man that he had twelve weeks to live.
On May 12, Stradford's daughter Sophie published an entry on her personal blog entitled "Avengers Assemble!" in which she said that her father was facing the most difficult test of his life, and she would like to give him a pleasant surprise.
Knowing that the man was a fan of Marvel comics, she asked the actors starring in the films of this universe, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, to take a photo with a sign with the name of the superhero they represent and a note “for Strat "
To the girl’s surprise, almost all of the Avengers responded to her request, including Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk.

Captain America Chris Evans also responded.
And also Hawkeye played by Jeremy Renner.
They were joined by Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man.

The villain Loki played by Tom Hiddleston.

And members of the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization, including Samuel L. Jackson and the stars of the series of the same name, which was officially renewed for a second season in early May.

The word Afterparty, written on pieces of paper, is the working title of the film “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the filming of which is in full swing at the time of writing.
Marvel Studios even sent Stratford a copy of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which he was unable to see in theaters due to his health condition and which he most likely will not live to see released on home media.
Hey @PoppyM_3 @Marvel have been so very kind, dad is going to get to see it soon when he's home from hospital! :) Thanks for your support!

Sofia noted in her blog that her father always loved superheroes because they give hope and inspire people to do good deeds, like what the Marvel movie actors did for her.
