Crystal Grotto
Probably everyone in childhood found pebbles with a hole, the so-called geodes. The inner surface of the hole is usually covered with some kind of crystals. But it’s unlikely that anyone has come across a geode like the one found by Spanish geologist Javier Garcia-Guinea in Almeria, the southeastern province of Spain. His find is an entire cave that can fit ten people - it is 8 meters long, and among the gypsum crystals covering its walls there are two-meter-high prisms. Garcia-Guinea has good reason to hope that he has found the largest geode in the world.
