The strangest incident of the weekend is an attempt to take an employee of the American embassy through the Sheremetyevo mines through the Sheremetyevo Mina Airport. On Saturday, March 9, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that a certain diplomatic mission employee tried to conduct a mortar mine and thus tested the reliability of Russian security.

At the same time, on Smolenskaya Square they indicated that the United States was trying to experience the reliability of ensuring the security of Russia not only from the outside, regularly arranging provocative raids of warships and aircraft near the borders of Russia, but also from the inside.

The caused explosives indicated in the Foreign Ministry, confirmed that it was really a mine with a fuse, but without explosives, although its traces were present inside the corps. The department at the same time noted that the diplomat acquired a mine “for a personal collection” and that they consider the incident exhausted.

On Sunday, it became known that in Washington, the incident in Sheremetyevo was aware of and are sure that Mina had no threat to other passengers. The representative of the State Department announced this TASS, confirming that the aforementioned diplomat safely left the territory of Russia.

“We are aware of the incident at the Moscow Airport Sheremetyevo with the participation of a person from the US Embassy. The situation was exhausted, and this person was allowed to leave Russia after the object [mine] was removed from his baggage. There was no threat to any of the passengers, ”he said.
