I spoke in court about the conclusions of the so-called experts regarding Kosenko’s condition. It is written outrageously carelessly, and the diagnosis is far-fetched.
Schizophrenia is divided into three completely different diseases: schizotypal disorder, chronic delusional disorder and schizophrenia itself. For 12 years, Kosenko was observed with a diagnosis that we used to call sluggish schizophrenia, and now, according to the International Classification of Diseases, is called schizotypal disorder. This is not schizophrenia. Expert Inna Ushakova from the Serbsky Institute outrageously misled the court, in the spirit of the Soviet practice of using psychiatry for political purposes. The entire conclusion consisted of such stretches and deceptions.
Kosenko's sentence is worse than a camp. Doctors can keep him under compulsion for the rest of his life. Punitive psychiatry in its purest form
Kosenko will receive his usual therapy in the psychiatric hospital, and in six months he will be discharged home.
The decision on Kosenko would not have been possible without the assistance of unscrupulous doctors
The Serbsky Institute made a glorious mark in past Soviet times, sending healthy people to forced labor. How can I notify all the doctors and employees of the institute about what happened in court?
This “institute” itself should be closed. What is the point of maintaining punitive medical institutions.

Oskolkova Sofya Natanovna, born in 1954, defended her doctoral dissertation on schizophrenia in 1992 (a specialist in this field). She wrote (co-authored) the following book: Kondratyev F.V., Oskolkova S.N. The Independent Psychiatric Association wrote devastating reviews about this book.
