In Ingushetia, on January 30, Ruslan Dobriev, a relative of the widow of Maksharip Aushev, an Ingush human rights activist who was shot dead last October, was killed. Ruslan Dobriev was found with numerous gunshot wounds near his home and died in the hospital, Kommersant reports. According to human rights activist Magomed Khazbiev, Dobriev was not involved in politics, he worked as a bricklayer. This is not the first relative of Aushev’s widow Fatima Dzhanieva to become a victim of an attack. Her mother and brother died on December 16, when a car exploded in Nazran (checked by security forces a minute earlier) in which they, Dzhanieva herself and her other brother were traveling. The next day, her third brother Batyr Dzhaniev rammed a traffic police post in a car filled with explosives and died. Finally, on December 28, four more relatives of Dzhanieva went missing in St. Petersburg.
