On that Wednesday, October 1, in Belyaevka there was to be a holiday: a pensioner's day was celebrated in the House of Culture. The recent school graduate Artem sat in the club for equipment and established a sound. About 11 o’clock his girlfriend called him, eleventh grader Anya Pryeva. She asked how to do it and recognized the program of the holiday, then to write about him in the wall newspaper.
The last call
“The concert began at 11,” recalls Artem. - Then the bell rang again. I ran out of the hall, picked up the phone. In response, I heard not that crying, but some kind of howl, groans, sobs. I say: "Hello, Hello, what is it?" I did not understand anything and went back to the hall. And there we were informed that the school collapsed. ”
The second call from Ani Pryeva was at 11.44. At that moment, the schoolgirl was already lying under the rubble for 14 minutes. She only managed to press the call button on her phone and died. “I call Ana, at first no one picks up the phone, then the phone is already turned off,” says Artem. “This howl is dying in my ears.” Ani Pryeva's body lay closer to the exit. In total, 5 girls from 11 “A” class were killed in the Belyaevskaya high school: Anna Pryeva, Zenira Vorosakova, Gulnaz Shakhvaleeva, Svetlana Moskalenko and Marina Martynova. They were 16-17 years old. All of them were on the third floor of the building, from where the collapse came.
"Everything turned out, we flew"
Their classmates Gulmira Zharmukhambetova, Anya Yerashchenko, Tanya Pfaifer, as well as Alexey Uzenev, a worker inserting the windows at the school, also found themselves under the rubble, but survived. They were taken to the regional clinical hospital in Orenburg.
There are a lot of fruits and sweets in the room No. 67. Gulmira is trying to get out of bed, rests on the iron crossbar. She did not rise for almost two days. On the left hand of the girl gypsum. Her neighbor in the ward Anya Yerashchenko turns away to the wall and carefully listens to all the conversations. Ani has wounds and abrasions all over the face.
Gulmira tells what he remembers from the very beginning: “We were sitting on a bench on the third floor, waiting for the fourth lesson, literature. The boys stood near the office in the corridor, and we are a little away, by the window. Someone said that men are standing on the street and looking up-there some kind of crack went. We went to the window, saw these men. Then they took 3-4 steps ago, and suddenly everything cracked. We were scared. And then sharply in half around us turned out, fell, and we in the middle. We flew down, and these plates were on the sides. ”
Gulmira woke up from the fact that someone called to the rescue. Her friends shouted: "Help!" “I also began to call for help,” says Gulmira. - When I screamed, in my mouth, my nose and eyes clogged my earth. I spit. I began to choke. I was lying on my left hand in a bent position, I could not move. I was on the stove. I don't know what she was. I did not see anything, everything was dark. Then I remember the rescuers, they reassured me, said: "Do not cry, do not cry, we will pull you out, everything will be fine." I remember how the rescuer threw his jacket on my head so that I would not fill up again. They raised this plate, pulled me out. Then I heard my mother’s voice, recognized him. ”
Now Gulmira’s mother is almost always next to her daughter, he just sits on the side on the chair. “I was then at work,” the woman recalls. - Suddenly the children come running to colleagues and shout: "The school collapsed!" Me: "How did you collapse?" I rushed there, and there are debris, noise, crying. The students cried, ran and waited. I ask: "Where is the 11th grade?" They answer me: "There." - "Where is there?" - "There". I stood and cried. I wanted to see my daughter. One is taken out - not mine! The second is not mine! Then, the third, she was taken out. Since then I am with her. How much time has passed, I don’t know. ”
Ruler
When the collapse happened, the tenth grader of Vika stood in the buffet on the second floor: “I just heard screams, noise. I turned - and everyone runs to me. The wave took me out into the street, I didn’t even run. There was no evacuation, we were not warned. They just gave a call from the lesson 10 minutes earlier. ” The seventh grader Alyosha tells how the old-legged guys picked up those who are younger, fled with them. Children broke the windows, broke out the doors - most of the exits were boarded up or locked. The guys rushed about in search of a way out, broke the doors along with the jambs, some jumped directly from the windows. Then there was a ruler, a frightened crowd of children was built on the site in front of the school and began to count. 8 people were missing ...
Sleeping beauties
On October 3, the funeral of the dead girls took place. On this day, mourning was declared in the entire Orenburg region. Zenir and Gulnaz were buried according to Muslim customs in their native villages Alabaital and Jeanatalap, all the others in Belyaevka. The whole village came out to see them off, about a thousand arrived from Orenburg. Schoolgirls dressed in white dresses. “Sleeping beauties,” cried in the crowd. Some fainted, they called an ambulance. After the burial of the mother, the girls sat still for a long time and motionlessly at their graves ...
Earlier, on the night of October 2, the head teacher of the school Marina Borodina committed suicide. She hanged herself in the garage of her house. The day before, almost until one in the morning, she was interrogated in the prosecutor's office. Friends say the interrogation was very tough. The head teacher was buried two days later. The coffin with a body was taken out of the house, laid on a truck and taken to the cemetery. The older sister of the teacher sat all the way next to the coffin and wailed: “Remember how we frolic with you in childhood, Marinochka, my blood.” The procession stretched a few hundred meters.
The grave of Marina Borodina is next to the dead eleventh graders. The husband Pavel and son Alexei stood nearby. The widower leaned toward his wife to brush something off her cheek with his handkerchief, but rose with tears and did not remove the scarf from his eyes. “I didn’t think that she would do it,” he said later. “She came from the prosecutor’s office, we talked a little with her, and then ...” The son, a student of the 10th grade of the same school, answered any question the same way: “I know nothing at all, I know nothing.” He did not go to kiss his mother goodbye. And only a few days later he will say that he does not blame her for anything. The eldest son, Glory, is now in the army, he did not have time to come to the funeral.
“She wrote a note so that I would not leave her grandchildren,” Marina’s mother-in-law, 80-year-old Maria Pavlovna cry. - Grandma Maria, she writes, do not forget my grandchildren, my men, I loved you. Eh, this is all the school. ”
“She answered everyone,” another old woman came up.
In the coffin with the body - the icon, the Orthodox cross. That's just not a single priest - the church refused to catch the suicide.
Unlucky evacuation
Rumors were immediately in the village that allegedly retroactively a certain statement was written in which the head teacher Marina Borodina is considered responsible for the evacuation. The director of the school Larisa Tsepovyaz initially refused to answer questions, but later stated: "During the evacuation, a collapse occurred."
But was there really evacuation? Some schoolchildren left the building after the call from the lesson rang 10 minutes earlier than usual. After that, on the first and second floors, the duty officers were placed. One of the teachers says that allegedly she approached them and asked if there was anyone on the third floor, and they supposedly answered her that there was no one there.
The girls-girls themselves say: “We were told to not let anyone go there. They also told us: go walk along the floors. I myself then walked along the second floor. Now it’s scary to remember this. The remaining children were sent to another part of the school. We only heard that the teachers whispered about some crack. ”
Most of the children were then in the dining room. Natalya Ivanovna, who worked in the kitchen, assures that she personally warned the students: “I tell them:“ Children, we quickly eat and slowly go out into the street. ” And then the teacher flew up and how he will chop: “Leak out of here!”
A few minutes before the incident, most teachers were on the second floor in office No. 16. This is the next office behind the corridor where the wall collapsed. Perhaps then they had to decide what they should do in connection with a crack. But they were late with real evacuation.
The crack on the building actually appeared in the morning - after the workers pulled out the jambs to start installing plastic windows. The builders refused to continue work.
“The school principal called experts, architect from the administration,” says Dmitry Nemaltsev, editor -in -chief of the district newspaper. - The architect looked, called the deputy head on operational issues. They looked, but did not give any written confirmation, although they said to free school just in case. The director decided not to bring a panic. They put the duty officers on the first and second floors. They didn’t put it on the third, no one thought that he was enduring, because the crack was from below. Everything collapsed at the moment when the architect and deputy head of operational issues stood in front of the school and looked at the facade of the building. "
"What have you forgotten here?"
“Unfortunately, some teachers were not good for themselves later,” continues Nemalsev. - They bored and decided to give information that they evacuated children, and these girls allegedly hid, did not obey. Most of the teachers did not agree with this, but was silent. ” “Why do they say that we were hiding - we were not hiding anything,” said Gulmira Zharmukhambetova in the hospital.
“I do not think that the school principal is to blame for something,” says one of the witnesses, “but she acted ugly when she began to cover herself. The day after the tragedy, a rally gathered. The director approached high school students and said to everyone: “What have you forgotten here? Why did you come here? If you just look, then go home. And if they ask you about something, say that there was evacuation. ” I heard it myself. Most high school students are gone. And those who stood assured that there was evacuation. Then this version quickly crumbled. But God forbid, someone here will not say the same as necessary, they simply will not live. Everyone knows this. Schoolchildren too. "
And then ...
On October 6, rescuers pulled out the surviving equipment, boards, computers from the building, brought them to the local administration, primary school and the library - it was there that they decided to hold lessons in two shifts.
October 7 - the first school day after the tragedy. Teacher. There are several high school teachers in it, including the director of Larisa Tsepovyaz. All of them refuse to discuss the details. Some say that they simply can no longer (“we don’t sleep, and if we lie down, then we don’t turn off the light”), others “just don’t want”, the others continue to repeat that the “evacuation was”, the rest are simply turning away.
Suddenly a signal is heard to the whole school: “Leave the premises! Leave the premises to everyone! " Anxiety! Teachers put on: “This is an academic. We go out too? " - "Well, let's go go out." After some time, they get up and descend into the courtyard. They stand, consider children. “Our 6 out of 21,” one teacher reports. "Did all the children come out?" - asks The New Times. “Everything, we have two entrances, they had to go out of the other side,” answers the director of Larisa Tsepovyaz. To check if this is really so, no one expresses intentions. “In any case, the teacher is the first, this is so in the instructions,” says another teacher.
Later, in one of the lessons, there was a scandal: high school students arranged a demarche, they came to the lesson 10 minutes later than the laid. “Do not want to go to this school, you can not go NT, I can’t make you study here! - the teacher screamed at them. - I'm not going to answer for you! Unscrupulous! "
Many parents decided to transfer their children to other schools, not to leave them in Belyaevka. They say that "primary school is also breathing in incense." We already held several meetings. Most of the children wrote a statement to the Economic Lyceum in Orenburg, others intend to run up to schools of neighboring villages.
"Because it pulls here"
More than a week has passed, and people continue to go to the Belyaevskaya secondary school. They stand near the fence, are silent, then turn around and leave. Policeers are on duty at the destroyed building. “She seems to continue to breathe,” passers -by are afraid. It is worth some bird to sit on a concrete plate, a board or a battery hanging in the air, a creak is heard.
The tenth grader Vika and her friend Dasha are also heading for the school, her collapsed central part hides the trees standing in the square in the middle of the road. “Look, as if there was nothing,” Vika shows. “I don’t even want to move on and look at what will open there.”
Dasha: “We are sitting here in the evenings. We and adults. I don’t know why we walk all the time. ”
Vika: "Because it pulls here, very pulls."
People light candles. On the asphalt in front of the school, someone brought in huge letters of the word. But now they are read with difficulty: someone fell asleep with sand and ash. Dasha and Vika clear the dust and read: - "Whose wine?" - “Their live ...” - what is written next? - "Who will return ..." - "... their life."
On October 1, at 11.30 (9.30 Moscow time), in the district center of Belyaevka, Orenburg region, in high school there was a collapse of ceiling ceilings of the 2nd and 3rd floors. The cause of the collapse, so far, according to preliminary data, was repair work on the replacement of window blocks in recreation of the first floor. Inside the school were 342 students and 32 teachers. 5 schoolgirls were killed, another 3 schoolgirls and a construction worker were sent to the hospital. The main building of the school is now planned to be demolished. After the incident, the head of the Belyaevsky district Viktor Oleshko and the head of the Ministry of Education of the region Alexander Kovalev resigned
