In Samara, the "march of disagreements" was held

The "march of disagreements" in Samara ended with a rally on the embankment. According to the correspondent of "Echo of Moscow", the procession itself lasted no more than half an hour.

About 500 people took part in the action: activists of "another Russia", the "shift" movement, and the National Bolsheviks. They shouted slogans: “We need another Russia!”, “Freedom to political prisoners!”

The streets closest to the route of the procession were cordoned off by the police and therefore people could not join the march. According to the correspondent of "Echo of Moscow", there were twice as many law enforcement officers than participants in the action.

The rally of "disagreements" on the embankment was opened by the chief editor of Novaya Gazeta in Samara Sergey Kurt-Ajiev. He expressed regret that the leaders of "other Russia" were prevented from flying to the march. Then the word was taken by the representative of "another Russia" Yuri Chervinchuk.

The organizers of the rally were seized all the equipment, so they spoke from the rostrum without microphones.

Meanwhile, according to the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the Samara Region, 250 people took part in the march: "70 participants in the march, about 150 journalists and ordinary passers -by." The Central Internal Affairs Directorate emphasized that "the procession and rally passed calmly, without any incidents."

Earlier in Samara, the Executive Director of the OGF Denis Bilunov was detained. Together with him was detained by the press secretary of the Movement "Smena" Stanislav Yakovlev and the journalist of the magazine "Focus" Boris Wright Shuster. People who carried out detentions did not bring any accusations and took away the detainees in an unknown direction.

Also, law enforcement agencies detained the leader of the youth movement "Time!" Andrei Sidelnikov.

In addition, according to Kasparov.ru, in Samara on Krasny Kommunarov Street, house 6, where there was a group of activists of another Russia, the special services made a "cleansing". They hacked the door and detained six people.

On Friday morning, the leaders of the "other Russia" Harry Kasparov and Eduard Limonov could not fly out of Moscow to Samara to participate in the action. The police said their tickets are invalid.

Meanwhile, the city is undergoing a Russia-Es summit. Earlier, the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who came to the summit, expressed the concern of the situation around the marches. According to Merkel, she is disturbed by the fact that representatives of the opposition had problems entering Samara. She also expressed the hope that they can "express their opinion." The Chancellor considers it necessary to provide the right to expression of his own opinion to everyone who wants to do this.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in turn, stated that his opposition shares “do not interfere with anything”, but emphasized that they should be held within the law and not interfere with citizens.
