How to master funds for patriotic education: "Kommersant money"

In 2011-2015, 591 million rubles were allocated for patriotic education in Russia from the federal budget. In the next five years, the state plans to spend three times more for the same needs. The magazine "Kommersant-money" figured out how money is spent on patriotism.

In 2014, Rosmolodezh spent half a billion rubles through the public procurement website. The main article of expenses is the Seliger forum (it began as the rally of the Prochrevsky movement “ours”, then turned into a wider youth forum, preserving the “prostious” profile). Last year, 240 million rubles were spent on it.

Another 50 million rubles in 2014 were spent on the forum “Expedition of the Arctic”, which, despite the name, was held on the same Seliger. 150 people participated in the forum - the expenses for each participant amounted to 50 thousand rubles a day. This is more expensive than holding an event in a five -star hotel in Moscow.

One of the large articles of the expenses of Rosmolodezh is grants to the winners of the All -Russian competition of youth projects. The department distributed 120 million rubles for 81 projects, among which the infographics “15 years of Putin” and the project of the Youth Center for Combating Extremism turned out to be.

The education of patriotism is funded not only through Rosmolodezh. In 2014, presidential grants were distributed to work in this area for 130 million rubles.

ANO “Siberian press club”, which received almost two million on the project to “form the youth of Siberia and the Far East of Patriotism”, was supposed to conduct a survey, photo contest and a competition of ideas “How to make the life of my small homeland better?” The survey conducted VKontakte: 40% of the vote scored the option "We are moving in the same direction as now." The site of the grantee has not been updated since June 2014.

The site of the support of young scientists Anna Chapman, who received 2 million rubles to increase the prestige of Russian universities through an increase in the citation index of scientific publications, is not updated. What successes managed to achieve the fund is unknown.

“The issue of evaluating the effectiveness of the measures taken is extremely important for us,” the press service of Rosmolodezh told the “money”. To our clarifying questions about the effectiveness of activity, covering less than 1% of young people, answered: "Listening and hearing youth is our priority task."
