On March 15, Yuri Bondarev turns 85 years old. Like many people of his generations, our last thaw seemed to him too wet. Nevertheless, his birthday is our common holiday. Yuri Bondarev belonged to the first swallows of the very first thaw. In 1962, he gave us the “silence”, two years later, its continuation was the novel “Two”, and in 1975, in the midst of a hopeless stagnation, he dared to open to society the darkest page of the war: the behavior of Soviet troops in Germany (Roman “Coast”).
Yuri Bondarev is a front -line soldier, and his heroes are also front -line soldiers. In peaceful days in their own homeland, they collided with a sticky, dangerous, permeated by fear and troubles of silence. The first meeting of the faithful communist consciousness with the nightmarish reality of the Stalinist repressions. A lot of vokhmintsev and shipbuilders fell under the volleys of this deceptive world. And on this battlefield, Bondarev was one of the first. “For years of silence, squeezed mouths, like the kidneys, are ready to open, hooking from a long such dumbness, we try the word in a voice” (N. Boltyanskaya).
Sergei Vokhmintsev and Kostya shipbuilders, as well as the father of Sergei Nikolai Grigoryevich, returned from the war winners. And lost the world. Apparently, this wants to ban Sergey Shoigu with his completely Stalinist initiative to introduce criminal liability for the denial of the victory of the USSR in the war. Sergei Vokhmintsev reached Berlin and saw the ruins of the Reich Scan of. Who will deny the facts? But what happened then? Then an honest communist N.G. Vokhmintseva arrests the MGB. Interrogations. Torture. Far camps. Sergei refuses to renounce his father. It is excluded from the party. We have to leave the institute. 1949. World. And where did the parents of Kostya Kostya Kostya Kostya disappear before the war? Yes, there, where is Sergey's father. And it is no coincidence that in the novel “Two” it was Kostya who pulls out two victims from the hands of the MGB, interfering with arrest. Silence ... “In his consciousness, clouded by sleep, stupidly burst out a movement instantly arising - like the roar of a tank motor outside the window, as if the voices of people, steps, rattles of the glasses above the ear” (“Silence”). It just came to arrest the Wokhmintsevater. And the tanks were really behind this matter. Their tanks.
Hitler’s victory would be the greatest disaster for all of humanity. The victory of Stalin became a disaster for the USSR and the countries of Eastern Europe occupied by him. From the victory of the people, the people did not fall off anything but barbed wire. And in the 70s, dissident Peter Starchik painted a swastika and star on his leaflets, placing an equal sign between them. This would seem to both of the Wokhmintsev blasphemy, but it was precisely the equality of these symbols that "their little life has moved." Together with the Black Raste, on which Senior Vokhmintsev was taken away. This is what Sergei Shoigu and those who stand behind him would like to ban. We caused Stalin’s spirit for too long, and now he came to our dinner and stood at the door at the clock.
And in the "shore" Bondarev recalled how Soviet liberators raped non -capacity. The hero of the novel, on the contrary, saves the German and her brother from the Hitler Yugen, but he saw everything and remembered everything. Lev Kopelev, an honest front -line soldier, who received 10 years to protect the civilian German population, published his terrible evidence in Samizdat, and Yuri Bondarev made his way to Romangazet. And they also want to erase this, returning us to the Brezhnev “Malaya Earth”.
I envy Yuri Bondarev and his heroes. In the film “Silence” (1964), Sergei Vokhmintsev writes with oil on the tower “XX Congress of the CPSU”. And we have no illusions, and at the XX Congress of United Russia we do not hope. Recently, at the rally “in support of the anti -crisis measures of the government, the squeal of the“ faithful Putinists ”sounded at the Vasilievsky descent at the rally. These were the last volleys of the world we lost.
