A draw was held in the Central Election Commission on Wednesday, according to the results of which the party participating in the elections received numbers under which they will be listed in ballots.

As RIA Novosti reports, United Russia received number 10.

The draw conducted by the Central Election Commission traditionally causes increased interest, because parties in their election campaign pay special attention to the numbers in the ballot and “promote” them as actively as their names.

The draw was carried out using a mechanical lototron, a specially acquired CEC. In past federal elections, an electronic device was used for this.

Previously, the car, having previously mixed the balls, "threw out" one of them. Now the lototron is twisted manually.

In February, during preparation for regional elections, United Russia, according to the results of the draw, was in the first place in 8 regions out of 14. Then the party was accused of subsidiability to the results of the draw.
