President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the former head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional administration, Igor Kolomoisky, said that there was no conflict between them. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

“We have no conflict with the president’s team,” Kolomoisky said. “We will support the new chairman, we will expose his shoulder and we will protect Dnepropetrovsk.”

In turn, the president thanked Kolomoisky for his work as the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional administration. “I really appreciate this contribution,” Poroshenko said. He noted that the governor’s team "took responsibility in the most difficult and important times and did not ask at what cost."

“There is nothing personal in the decisions I have taken. This is only about principles,” Poroshenko said. He emphasized that the public service should be separated from business.

"Private business should manage private assets, the state - state. For me, security in the state is very important, and no security companies are allowed to violate the peace of civilians with weapons," the President of Ukraine said.

On Wednesday, Poroshenko satisfied Kolomoisky’s request for resignation . The head of state signed the corresponding decree during a meeting with him. The acting chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration was appointed Valentin Reznichenko. Since February, he headed the administration of the Zaporizhzhya region.

Relations between Kolomoisky and Poroshenko sharply aggravated last week due to the conflict around Ukrtransnafta-the operator of the main oil pipelines. On March 20, Kolomoisky arrived at the company's office to oppose dismissal from the post of chairman of the board of Alexander Lazorko. Then the Dnipropetrovsk governor fired the journalist of the Freedom radio station, for which Poroshenko reprimanded him .

On Sunday, Kolomoisky arrived at the office of Ukrnafta, in which its structures own 42 percent of the shares. The office was taken under the protection of unknown armed people. After that, the president announced the inadmissibility of the existence of "pocket armies."

Kolomoisky headed the Dnipropetrovsk region on March 2, 2014, a few days after the flight of President Viktor Yanukovych. Under him, the Dnipropetrovsk region escaped mass riots. In Dnepropetrovsk, the battalions of the territorial defense of the Dnipro and Donbass were formed, which actively participated in battles against the militants of the self -proclaimed "Donetsk People’s Republic". In June 2014, the TFR started a criminal case against Kolomoisky and put him on an international wanted list .
