Mikhail Kasyanov will be registered by a presidential candidate if the Central Election Commission will take into account his objections to the marriage in signature sheets. This was stated on Thursday by the Secretary of the CEC Nikolai Konkin, reports Echo of Moscow.
The centriezbirk has rejected more than 13 percent of Kasyanov’s support at the permissible 5 percent of the marriage. However, representatives of Kasyanov sent objections to the CEC. They emphasize that the main claims relate to the execution of signature sheets, and not the reliability of the signatures themselves.
"Kasyanov’s representatives began to present their objections to check the signatures, and at present the working group is studying and evaluating these objections," Konkin said.
The objections were filed for all formal points of claims presented by the Central Election Commission. As the correspondent of the faces reports, this was stated by the Secretary of the Presidium of RNDS Konstantin Merzlikin. “As for expert comments, there can be no objections, since we still have not received protocols,” he added.
Merzlikin emphasized that, in his opinion, the members of the Central Election Commission "have actually had no doubt that more than two million citizens signed up in the support of Kasyanov." In general, the CEC Merzlikin considers the claims of the hooking.
Merzlikin also said that the day before the signatures were handed over to the CEC, tens of thousands of signatures were stolen from the RNDS office. In particular, the materials on Tver with notarized signatures of collectors, which had to be restored urgently, disappeared, since it was the Tver signatures that immediately took for verification in the CEC.
To the question of the correspondent of the "faces" whether the internal investigation is carried out on this fact, Merzlikin said that it was "pointless, because it is impossible to organize a collection of signatures if you do not trust anyone." “We proceed from the fact that the presumption of trust should act,” Merzlikin added.
The CEC meeting on the registration of Mikhail Kasyanov should be held on January 27.
On Tuesday, when it became known about the high share of rejected signatures, Kasyanov said he was sure of his registration. According to him, this decision will not be made by the CEC, but personally Vladimir Putin.
On Thursday, the CEC registered the candidacy of the leader of the democratic party Andrei Bogdanov. The signatures presented by him successfully passed the verification. Earlier, candidates from parliamentary parties Gennady Zyuganov, Vladimir Zhirinovsky and Dmitry Medvedev were registered.
