Shooting in Ingushetia: Military

In Ingushetia, as a result of shelling by unknown KamAZ cars with military personnel, one person died. According to RIA Novosti, this was announced by the representative of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee under the prosecutor's office of Ingushetia Svetlana Gorbakova.

"In the village of Troitskaya, the Sunzhensky district, at about 14.30, unidentified persons, presumably on the VAZ vehicle 21115 fired shots on the KamAZ military vehicle, which were two military personnel of military unit 28483," said Gorbakova.

According to her, as a result of the shelling, a contract soldier, the truck driver Oleg Nikitin died on the spot from the received gunshot wounds.

"The second soldier was not injured. The criminal case was opened under Article 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (an encroachment on the life of an employee of a law enforcement agency) and article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal wearing, storing and transporting weapons)," said a representative of the investigative department. Currently, an investigative-operational group is working at the scene, the search for criminals is underway.
