“August 3, at 22.00 local time, the duty unit of the Iskitim Internal Affairs Directorate received a call from a woman who said that the day before, her goddaughter had called her on a mobile phone and said that “a roommate killed her daughter.” The godmother at first did not believe the words of the young girl, but the next day, when colleagues at work were discussing the terrible “find”, she identified him by the medallion, ”said Igor Shtang, investigator of the Iskitim Interdistrict Investigation Department of the RF Investigative Committee for the Novosibirsk Region.

According to the investigator, on August 4, at 7 am, the man and the mother of the murdered child were found with friends in Yelovkino, a remote village in the Cherepanovsky district.

“We took their testimony,” continued Igor Shtang. - The girl explained that she met her partner in early 2009. Then she was already pregnant, but since she led a wild life, she does not even know from whom her child was conceived. According to assumptions, the real father is a citizen of Uzbekistan. And this fact bothered the roommate, he repeatedly expressed claims to the girl. When the child was born, the mother gave him the patronymic of the cohabitant, which also caused him dissatisfaction from the series “he worked up, but my middle name!”. Already after the birth of her daughter - this happened on March 28 - my mother continued to lead a wild life, cheated on her roommate, and on July 29, after drinking a lot, she went for a walk along Dorohino.

Igor Shtang says that the man, left alone with his step-daughter, began to get pretty nervous, and when the child began to cry, he decided to calm him down with blows: “He beat her on the head with his wrists, hit her at least 10 times. And the girl was lying on the bed next to the wall, jumping up and down, bumping against it too.”

According to preliminary information, the child died from a blunt head injury: a contusion of the brain with hemorrhages under its membranes.

“After three or four hours, the young mother returned home, began to quarrel with her roommate, and when she went to the bed to swaddle her daughter, she found that she was dead,” said Igor Shtang. - On the offer to call the police, the cohabitant grabbed a knife and cut her leg, making it clear that there was no need to call the police. After that, the woman put the girl in a removable box of the stroller, and the family calmly went to bed.

Where to put the child's body? On the morning of July 30, this became the main task for would-be parents. Having gone through the options (to hide in a cellar or to bury), they decided to get to Iskitim, a city where there were neither relatives nor acquaintances. “No one will find it,” they thought, and took a taxi to Iskitim. “From the station square we went towards the local market, where we hid the stroller box among the metal sections, then we went by taxi to Novosibirsk, from where we headed from the bus station to Kemerovo. Only on August 2, the family returned to Yelovkino, where my mother decided to radically change her image and dye her hair blonde,” said Igor Shtang, adding that the cohabitant is now in the temporary detention center of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Iskitimsky district and a preventive measure will be chosen against him in the near future and charged. On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under paragraph "c" part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
