The French Antimonopoly Service fined the American Apple for 1.1 billion euros for agreements with elected wholesalers on price agreements.

At the same time, the companies themselves - Tech Data and INGRAM Micro - for 76.1 million euros and 63 million, respectively.
The case is quite old: with a complaint about restricting the competition of Apple and its privileged partners, their competitor, Ebizcuss, turned back in 2012.
This is a record amount of antimonopoly fine for France: the previous record (350 million euros) was set in 2015 in relation to the Orange SA telecom giant.
The last major fine (150 million euros) France wrote down Google at the end of 2019 for abuse of dominance in search advertising and the opaque Google ADS rules.
